Ethos Gallery is situated between the Indian ocean and the Outeniqua mountains on the Garden Route of South Africa, at Timberlake Organic Village. Owned by Ashleigh de Villiers the gallery offers a wide range of beautiful and unique art, photography, prints, and crafted items that are ideal as gifts.
Inspired by whispered wisdoms from the natural world, the biodiversity of our lush area, Egyptian mythology, and spirituality. The art is varied but nourished by an ethos of life’s abundance, creativity, connection, community and imagination. Texture, light and colour dance together among hand-painted mandalas, sleek metal prints, clay sculptures, and paintings.
Ethos is an ancient Greek word meaning ‘character’ that is used to describe the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterize a person, community or institution. We encourage an ethos of creativity, mindfulness, kindness and compassion through out art, offerings and events.
